ENFIELD’S 29-run victory over Church & Oswaldtwistle in the second versus third clash of the weekend meant they were able to keep up the pressure on JW Lees Senior Division 2 leaders Greenmount.
Church won the toss and opted to field first, Enfield going on to make 263-7 from 48 overs, largely thanks to a superb century from Adam Bracewell.
He hit 122 from 92 deliveries, including ten maximums and seven fours.
Church got off to a decent start in their reply with Craig Fergusson, 25, and Sam Holt, 35, putting on 74 for the first wicket. They ten lost a few cheap wickets before skipper Kelan Florentine, 51, and Ben Parkinson, 61, combined to take them from 5-109 to 6-215.
