Tony's Titans ready to relish toughest tests lying in store

TAUNTON Titans face another difficult set of games in National One, and head coach Tony Yapp is under no illusions about how tough they will be.

Taunton have had a mixed start to the season, with their one win so far being a thrashing of Rosslyn Park, but they also ran table-toppers Rams very close.

Yapp, 46, said: "It has not been as bad as you might think when you look at the table. We have picked up a lot of bonus points and that's an indication of where we're at.

"We're not quite there, but we're close enough to be scoring tries and finishing within seven a lot of the time." They certainly have picked up a lot of bonus points, with nine of their total 13 points coming from bonuses.
