Josh Redfern fed Barney Goatley from ten metres, the centre somehow meandering through a mass of Hull bodies to find his way over the line, ahead of Lewis Taylor quickly adding another, picking off a deflected clearance kick.
And with the visitors still coming to terms with the double blow, they were behind their own try line once again, Louis Townsend racing over having been put in the clear following Redfern’s excellent break.
