Esher made to fight all the way in top encounter

But it was Esher, this week named the best team in levels 3 and 4 for December, who took the spoils crowning a good week for the leaders.

Canterbury opened the scoring through Tom Williams running a lovely line after Aiden Moss had made a strong break.

Frank Reynolds started, what would become a strong day off the boot, by converting.

Esher didn't take long to fire back, with a break supported by Cameron Wilkins to score. Sam Morley added the extras.

Canterbury then fired back, with Eoin O'Donoghue offloading to Tom Best to beat a last-ditch tackle to score.

Reynolds then aided the Canterbury cause by kicking the conversion.
