REIGNING champions Gloucester-Hartpury have been the league's pacesetters once again and today face an Exeter side determined to make up for last season's final heartache.
Gloucester-Hartpury beat the Chiefs 34-19 at Kingsholm to lift the Premier XVs trophy and Exeter director of rugby Susie Appleby believes the pressure is all on the table toppers, who lost just once in the league this term.
Appleby, whose side finished fourth in the table, told The Rugby Paper.
"They are not top of the league by chance. They've had a lot of challenges through injuries and have had to bring through a lot of players from their BUCS programme, as well as their pathway and have still managed to be the top side in the league.
"They have an excellent 9-10 axis, the way they manage a game is second to none. If we can bring a game that keeps them at bay in terms of what they want to do it gives us a chance but they are very good."
