Beautyman on a mission with Doyle's Cards

FORMER National League champion Harry Beautyman says he's joined Woking to try and help pull off another first.

The 32-year-old midfielder was a key cog in Sutton United's title win in the 2020-21 season.

Having left the U's this summer with more than 300 appearances for the club including 50 in League Two and domestic cups last season - the former Welling United attacker has been eyeing a fresh challenge.

Michael Doyle's Cards are just that - and he'd love to be the catalyst in more history.

"Once you've had a taste of success you're desperate for more and that's exactly why I've gone to Woking," Beautyman told The NLP.

"I was aware there was interest and I wanted to see what they had to say. As soon as I got off the phone to the manager, I knew straightaway I wanted to sign. I feel they're putting a really good project in place that sounds really promising.

"I want more success and, as I've said, that's the reason I've gone there because I believe we've got a chance of doing something this season.

"I am aware Woking have never been in the EFL before. It would be nice to try and create history again."
