CHATHAM reigned supreme in their battle with Enfield for second place.
One point separated the two sides heading into the contest but the Chats now sit tucked in behind Hornchurch with a game in hand.
After a frantic opening half, it was the hosts who led in the 21st minute. Ashley Nzala went on a mazy run, bypassing his defender on the halfturn in brilliant style, before being brought down when cutting inside on the edge of the box.
It was the definition of Jack Evans territory and he certainly didn’t disappoint, letting one fly into the top-left corner with a delightful free-kick.
