CHHATTISGARH MODEL: A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO DEVELOPMENT

This model of growth draws inspiration from the tradition and culture of Chhattisgarh, where nature thrives in harmony with the community's prosperity. Agriculture, industry, and business all receive equal nurturing under this model. It fosters a sense of pride in being a Chhattisgarhi and encourages active participation in the state's development.

The Chhattisgarh government led by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has successfully implemented a comprehensive growth model for the State. This model widely branded as the “Chhattisgarh Model” is looked into with great interest by other State leaders and planners. The various schemes started by the Chhattisgarh government have received accolades from the Central government. Some of the schemes of the State government have even been recommended by the NITI Ayog also. The Chhattisgarh model of development is gaining widespread acceptance as a sustainable model in harmony with nature and the principles of life.

Record Paddy Procurement in Chhattisgarh

The Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has set a record by purchasing more than 107.53 lakh metric tonnes of paddy in the Kharif marketing year 2022-23. Chhattisgarh is the second State in the country where the highest quantity of paddy has been purchased. In terms of the number of farmers selling paddy at support price, Chhattisgarh ranks first in the entire country. Around 23,41,935 farmers have sold their paddy at support price. This figure is way high when compared to other States in the country.
