Visionary and reformer, leader and task master, Nitin Gadkari envisions India's road infrastructure to be like that of America to make India prosperous

Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways
India has the second-largest road network in the world. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) is planning to develop around 60,000 km of roads in the next five years at a rate of about 40 km/day. And with Nitin Gadkari at the helm, there is no questioning that this will be achieved. Gadkari’s target is to achieve a pace of 100 km per day of highway construction. The Eastern and Western peripheral highways around Delhi were built in a record time of three years. After Nitin Gadkari took over the ministry, files moved at breakneck speed, and both highways are now complete.
