This issue is compounded by higher rates of smoking, including the proliferation of e-cigarettes, diabetes, elevated cholesterol levels, and hypertension are major factors contributing to heart disease in young Indians. Other factors including a sedentary lifestyle, obesity, an improper diet are prevalent risk factors that significantly elevate the risk of heart disease.
