Engineering Excellence in High-Tech Utility and Process Piping

Specialist for Large-scale Project

In an era where technology shapes economies, where every micron counts, Hyoungwon ENG is breaking boundaries and marking itself out as a pioneer in its field. The complexity of fluid management systems in semiconductor, battery and display plants demands unparalleled precision and expertise. As industries grapple with the challenges of creating ultra-clean environments, the need for specialized piping systems becomes ever more critical.

Utility piping encompasses the infrastructure responsible for distributing essential resources such as water, steam, compressed air and gases within industrial facilities. Unlike process piping, which directly handles materials involved in production processes, it supports auxiliary functions crucial for plant operation and maintenance.

"We have progressed significantly in the past 20 to 30 years and are now leaders in cleanroom technologies," says company CEO Jeong Hwan Kim. After initially adopting semiconductor and construction technologies from the U.S. and Japan in the 1980s and 90s, the company leveraged localized expertise to surpass some of its predecessors. "I believe we possess a competitive edge in the U.S.," he adds.
