Less can be a lot more this season, as we take design cues from Angelique Dhama's Diwali-ready home in Delhi

Always impeccably turned out, walking with quiet poise and a taste that whispers restrained luxury. That is Angelique Dhama, president of Obeetee Carpets and co-owner Thomas Goode India. Her two-storey South Delhi home mirrors that persona. It is minimal, magical and truth be told, a collector's haven. A discerning eye for design ties it all together.

The lower level is built for company with a home theatre and expansive living and dining rooms. The upper level retreats to private quarters and an intimate lounge for close family and friends. “The space is about 6,000 sq ft, giving us plenty of room to entertain and create beautiful setups for every occasion,” she says.
