It’s rare to find a wearable device that caters specifically to women, and with its sleep and fertility tracking features the Luna Smart Ring Gen 2 is an intriguing prospect.

The ring comes in five colours: midnight black, lunar black, stardust silver, rose gold and sunlit gold. To use it, you’ll need to download the Luna Ring app, which is free and doesn’t come with a subscription charge.

The main changes from the first to the second generation of the Luna Smart Ring are a slimmer design, upgraded hardware, an accompanying charging case (that looks like a fancy ring box) and a new Luna AI coach within the app.

Once fully charged, the Luna Smart Ring has between four and seven days of battery life, which is extremely impressive, and the Surge Charger box holds up to 30 days worth of charge, so you can keep your ring topped up without needing a plug socket.
