Ski In, Ski Out
Robb Report Singapore
|June 2025
If it's hassle-free skiing you're looking for, let Resort Club Med La Rosière and Club Med Grand Massif Samoëns Morillon take care of everything so you need only focus on the slopes.

WHEN IT COMES to winter holidays, ski and snow are always a great source of fun. But choosing a spot for the family for a week on the slopes? Perhaps not so much. Someone might want full-on days on the trails, while another might prefer a little bit of pampering slotted in between. The little ones might need sitters for when they run out of fuel before you do, while the tweens might get bored if they spend too much time doing the same thing. Also, let's face it—mountain chalet food isn’t for everyone and certainly not for every day.
Enter Club Med and its chain of all-inclusive luxury resorts catering to the needs of every age group, ski level, and adventure appetite. Seventeen of them happen to sit on the stunning French side of the Alps, spread across various ski areas, including Val d’Isère, La Rosière, Alpe d’Huez, and Tignes. With that number, nobody knows Alpine holidays quite like Club Med, especially ones that are all-inclusive, family-friendly, and ski-centred.

If you’re spoilt for choice, as one can understandably get with that kind of variety and promise, Resort Club Med La Rosière is a good place to start, especially if there are members of the family who are new to the sport. The instructors at L’Ecole du Ski Francais are on hand to teach beginners how to click on their skis as well as guide seasoned skiers up and down the snowy trails that bridge France and Italy. The Ski Pro Shop is always there to rent everything you will need, from skis to boots and helmets. The locker rooms not only store your equipment safely, they also come stocked with hot drinks on tap and oysters on ice when you ski in and ski out between sessions.
