Historically, in the world of fine watchmaking, women's timepieces have often been treated as afterthoughts, or smaller, simpler versions of existing men's models, dressed up in diamonds and softened in tone.

But at Richard Mille, this equation does not hold; we'd argue it never really has. Audacious, charming and deeply sensitive, the watchmaker's eponymous founder's vision for feminine horology is built on a deeper foundation—one that values technical precision and artistic daring in equal measure.

The RM 07-01 exemplifies this ethos. More than just a beautiful object, it is the product of years of research, experimentation, and refinement. At once luxurious and high-performance, it reflects a shift in how women's watches are conceived: not as ornamental accessories, but as complex, contemporary instruments with their own design logic.

Compact and elegant, yes, but mechanically unflinching. At its heart is the CRMA2 calibre, developed in-house by Richard Mille in 2014. Equipped with a variable-geometry rotor that adapts to the wearer's activity, the movement is a responsive, highly technical feat—a reminder that performance and style are not mutually exclusive.
