IN HAUTE HORLOGERIE, complications are often regarded with a sort of reverence. Minute repeaters, perpetual calendars, and tourbillons typically find their home in delicate precious metal cases, handled with kid gloves and whispered admiration. But Vacheron Constantin, in an audacious twist, has placed one of its most complex movements inside a titanium sports watch—the new Overseas Grand Complication Openface—and the result is nothing short of revelatory.

Equipped with the maison’s calibre 2755 QP, the new watch is not only the first Overseas model to incorporate a minute repeater, it also integrates a perpetual calendar, a tourbillon and a power reserve indicator, all while maintaining the sleek lines and contemporary spirit of the Overseas collection.
