DESPITE NOT HAVING an official solo career, pop icon V (Kim Taehyung) of BTS fame has released three solo tracks under their name – “Stigma” in 2016, “Singularity” in 2018, and “Inner Child” in 2020 – all of which charted on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart.
As members of BTS began their conscription in the South Korean military, V became the last member of the BTS solo project since J-Hope, Jin, RM, Jimin, Suga and Jungkook have all effectively introduced solo music, hence expectations on V’s performance have been raised.
