If less is meant to be more, Ram Iyer’s house speaks volumes. The three-bedroom haven serves as a home away from home, a sanctuary of comfort meant to sink back in for a moment of peace. “Ram is a chartered accountant working in Amsterdam, and the apartment serves as his home for when he visits his hometown, Chennai,” reveals Sunita Yogesh, founder and creative head of Sunita Yogesh Studio. The interior designer was approached by Ram thanks to her eclectic portfolio on social media. “With a clear brief and the freedom to experiment, he charged us with the task of integrating his functional needs into the design style he desired,” she says.
