In a quiet corner of Corvallis, Oregon, nestled behind a blooming garden and beneath the graceful sweep of a new wraparound porch, stands a 1938 bungalow reimagined as a romantic English cottage. With custom woodwork, heirloom furnishings, and sunlit rooms that wrap around a central kitchen, the home tells a story not only of timeless design, but of love, legacy, and one woman's long-held dream. That woman was Heidi Powell.

Heidi, co-owner of Powell Construction with her husband Tom, had dreamed of renovating their 1930s bungalow for more than two decades. Known for her radiant warmth, eye for detail, and unwavering spirit, she had collected every detail of her future home for years.
