Meet an indie dyer and indulge in a design with their skeins
-
When family-run yarn shop Woolmouse in Barnard Castle wanted to start selling high-quality hand-dyed yarns, they struggled to find indie dyers. So, matriarch Grace Jamison decided to become one! She learned to dye yarn in 2014 and later, in 2017, her son David Jamison "took over the dye pots, and from his Weardale cottage has developed the Lovehandyed brand to where it is today."
ALL IN THE FAMILY
Woolmouse is run by Grace, her partner Brian, her son David and her daughter Kate. Everyone has a different role within the company-Grace and David take care of the day-to-day operations in-shop and at shows, while Kate works on social media and Brian makes wooden goodies to sell.
