MIKE FULJENZ, known as America's Gold Expert®, is the president of Universal Coin & Bullion® in Beaumont, Texas and has received more than 70 national awards and honors for his commitment to the numismatic community. His services, dedication and philanthropy have helped nearly everyone in the industry at some point through his 50-year-plus career.

In 2023, Dr. Fuljenz was awarded the highest honor bestowed on an individual by the American Numismatic Association – the Chester L. Krause Distinguished Service Award. The award was given partially in recognition of Dr. Fuljenz's current and past efforts to educate and protect consumers who buy, sell or collect rare coins and precious metals. He has also twice been awarded, in 2016 and 2024, the Professional Numismatists Guild's (PNG) Sol Kaplen Award for combating numismatic fraud and thievery.
