Meredith Mickelson has learned that the most uncomfortable places are often the ones that teach us the most. “Throwing myself into the unknown has been essential for my growth, both personal and professional,” she begins, with a maturity rare in the entertainment industry. “That's why I started acting. It attracts me because it demands vulnerability, curiosity, and a willingness to be uncomfortable. Every role, every set, every collaboration is different, and that unpredictability forces me to keep learning, adapting and pushing past the limits I thought I had.”

For her, comfort is the enemy of evolution. “I don't want to feel like I've got it all figured out. The moment you get too comfortable, you stop growing. That's why I choose projects that scare me a bit, that challenge my perspective or my abilities, where I feel like the least experienced person in the room. That's where real growth happens.”

And at the heart of everything she does lies a powerful engine: her brother. “To put it simply: everything I do, I do for my brother, who passed away. He lives on in everything I do. He is my reason and my world. My greatest inspiration.”

In an industry that often screams louder than it listens, she’s found a way to stay grounded. “Starting so young felt like landing in a completely new reality: fastpaced, creative, but also overwhelming. What keeps me grounded is my own path and the experiences that shaped me. I've grown a lot, sometimes painfully, and that's helped me understand who I am.”
