Montblanc's new writing instrument pays tribute to the art of calligraphy.

Montblanc has crafted a new masterpiece that fits the spirit of the Lunar New Year while also expanding its Meisterstück Great Masters line, and that is through the Meisterstück Calligraphy Solitaire Celadon Dégradé. This writing instrument was crafted in appreciation of Asian calligraphy, with the unique element being the curved nib. Contrary to the Roman script where letters and words flow linearly from left to right, Asian characters — such as Chinese — are built from separate strokes, with each tiny gesture providing an avenue of expression. This calligraphy nib allows for different line widths when moved in any direction. It is not a brush, yet it gives the writer the option to emphasise parts of each stroke.
