In the magnificent gardens of Dumfries House, a country house in Ayrshire, Scotland, Van Cleef & Arpels is revealing its new Fleurs d'Hawaï collection to press who have gathered from around the world. Part of The King's Foundation, the alluring estate and 18th-century home is a most fitting venue. For one, the grounds are a heritage secret of Scotland — balancing patrimony and innovation expertly is an area Van Cleef & Arpels excels in. Second, the vibrant pieces from the collection are so detailed that they closely imitate real life florals — something the estate has plenty of.
