Although Ian had hoped to keep Cindy holed up in France living their quiet life, when their son Peter discovered he had a pair of sisters living in Walford who he didn’t have a clue about, the young Beale just had to go back for a look-see.

This week, Peter’s devoted mum Cindy, who hasn’t set foot in Walford for 25 years, follows her son home, unaware – thanks to jealous Ian’s meddling – that George Knight, her ex, and their two girls, Anna and Gina, are also there.
