As Whitstable Pearl returns to U&Drama with six new episodes this week, restaurateur turned private investigator Pearl Nolan is facing a double helping of dilemmas!

In her working life, Pearl's detective sideline is thriving, which means less time at the Whitstable Pearl seafood restaurant she runs with her mum Dolly (Frances Barber). In her love life, her romance with teacher Tom Grant (Robert Webb) is in danger of capsizing when DCI Mike McGuire (Howard Charles) returns following a three-month sabbatical.
