Julie and Nigel renew their wedding vows... as Phil keeps another big secret

It was back in 2000 that Nigel and Julie first said, ‘I do’ – off-screen in Scotland, in case you’re wondering.

This week, the pair renew their vows and it’s a day full of emotion, for not only is their time together set to be cut short, but Julie’s relationship with her husband’s best mate Phil is at rock bottom, too.

Having previously lived with Mr Mitchell at No 55, Nigel and Julie are now staying at Peacock Palace. It’s not ideal for Nigel, who is living with dementia, but Julie wants nothing to do with Phil after discovering he was planning to do a bunk with Nige to Portugal.
