Amy and Leyla are laid to rest this week after popping their clogs in the recent limousine crash (Suzy's funeral, in case you are wondering, happens in a mystical place, far, far away, otherwise known as 'off-screen').

Amy's husband Matty and Leyla's son Jacob are, unsurprisingly, in bits, and for Jakey, the phrase 'life after death' may prove particularly apt, because as his late mother totters around Emmerdale heaven, new girlfriend Sarah thinks that she's up the duff.

Jacob is currently burying his grief, and it's not working out well for him. Returning to work at Hotten General, he suffers a panic attack.
