We've been invited on set to watch the filming of period drama House of Guinness, an eight-part saga that delves into the history of one of Ireland's most famous families, and our timing couldn't have been better.

Today, Boyle and his three onscreen siblings are filming the funeral of their father, Sir Benjamin Guinness, a turning point which signals the start of a new chapter for the vast brewing empire that by 1868 already straddled the globe.
