Brassic's Damien Molony takes on the role of Jersey detective Jim Bergerac this week in a hotly anticipated reboot of the 1980s BBC1 cop drama.

The six-part series, penned by Being Human creator Toby Whithouse, finds the detective struggling with alcoholism following his wife's death. However, after his teenage daughter Kim (Chloé Sweetlove) moves in with her grandmother Charlie (Zoë Wanamaker) for more stability, Jim realises his life needs to change.
