A violent turf war is at the heart of this gritty BBC1 drama series, starring Peaky Blinders’ Aidan Gillen and Daredevil’s Charlie Cox as members of a Dublin crime family.
Cox plays Michael Kinsella, who is released from prison after eight years and is soon caught up in a conflict between his drug-dealing family and the bigger Cunningham clan, led by powerful patriarch Eamon (Ciarán Hinds).
At first, Michael’s time in prison seems to have turned him away from violence and he is more concerned with getting custody of his daughter Anna.
