With a title inspired by a Johnny Cash song, the gripping eight-parter follows acclaimed author Agatha 'Aggie' Wiggs (Danes), who has retreated from the public eye and battled writer's block since the death of her young son.

But when flashy, enigmatic real-estate mogul Nile Jarvis (Matthew Rhys) who was once a suspect in his wife's disappearance - moves into her affluent Upstate New York neighbourhood, Aggie is inspired to make him the subject of her next novel.
