Created by Booker Prize-winning novelist Marlon James, the five-parter - which begins with two episodes this week - follows rising-star investigator Millie-Jean Black (Tamara Lawrance), who was sent to live with relatives in London as a child but moves back to Kingston following her abusive mother's death.
