It's been a standout year for General Hospital's Kate Mansi. The actress has been front and center as Kristina Corinthos-Davis; she tied the knot in late May; and she is now celebrating a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress. “I’m so excited,” says Mansi, who previously won in the same category in 2017 while playing Days of Our Lives’ Abigail Deveraux. “I feel very honored and grateful.”

Mansi is celebrating her third Daytime Emmy nomination

Following a dramatic storyline in which the baby Kristina carried for her sister died, Mansi says selecting her submission reel took careful thought. “Kristina had such an intense sequence of events,” Mansi explains. “I feel that the scenes that I submitted, performance-wise, were a summation of my deep relationships with people who have experienced loss, and it was a place for me to put all of that and honor them.”
