AKSH BAGHLA'S BOY GROUP FIRST5 DROP DEBUT SONG 'TU AADATEIN'

The YouTuber and singer-songwriter talks about the circumstances which led him to turn manager and investor in the group
Earlier this year, creator and singer-songwriter Aksh Baghla announced he was forming his own boy band, in what was likely a bid to take his fan following to a new level.
First5 comprising Daksh, Yoshi, Tan and Elton have now put out their first single "Tu Aadatein" and ticked a lot of boxes when it comes to "India's first next gen pop boy group" as they bill themselves - there's sublime pop voices, chocolate boy looks, serious dance chops and plenty of goofiness for good measure.
It's been a wholly different route for Baghla to become First5's leader. He started out part of the group as a singing member, but then when their investor backed out, he took over managing and investing in the group, effectively switching into a role he'd never taken on before. Baghla - who has over three million YouTube subscribers and has now drummed up over 26,000 subscribers for First5 - enlisted electronic artist Exbow aka Dipanshu Lather for pop production that drives "Tu Aadatein" and Akshit Bhardwaj aka Hisoka (a dancer and VFX whiz/editor) to turn director for the fun-loving introductory music video.
In an email interview, Baghla looks back at the creation of First5 and what's in store.
