It’s been 30 years since Victoria Beckham strutted into the spotlight wearing her signature “little Gucci dress.” And while it might seem inevitable now that “Posh Spice” would evolve into the head of a global fashion brand, her path was anything but smooth. The three-part Netflix docuseries Victoria Beckham traces her transformation from performer to designer through candid interviews with Beckham, now 51, her family and fashion powerhouses like Anna Wintour and Tom Ford. “I loved fashion, and it was my dream, but I knew what people thought: ‘She was a pop star. She’s married to a footballer.’ And I get it,” she says in the documentary. “But I never took no for an answer.”
