Prasar Bharati's WAVES OTT Platform Debuts with Diverse, Family-Friendly Content

Keeping with the changing times of media and entertainment, the Ministry of I&B had launched the WAVES OTT platform, WAVES is an OTT platform that offers family-friendly entertainment and more under one digital roof, said Shri Sunil Bhatiya, Deputy Director General, Doordarshan Kendra Panaji. He was addressing a press conference at Doordarshan Kendra, Panaji.

“Waves offers a diverse range of live TV, on-demand videos, digital radio, gaming, and e-commerce—all under one digital roof. Available on both Android and iOS devices, it is positioned as a one-stop digital hub for family-friendly entertainment, education, and online shopping. Designed with a focus on clean and inclusive content, the platform aims to cater to audiences of all age groups while showcasing India's rich cultural heritage,” Shri Bhatiya said.
