INDUSTRY VOICE

At NAB 2025, we’re excited to present a range of innovations that reflect the industry’s ongoing shift toward IP-based production, cloud integration, and software-defined workflows. One of the highlights is our intelligent multiviewer solution, which optimizes network efficiency by dynamically selecting the best picture resolution for each multiviewer PiP. This multiviewer-head population process leverages the full-size video feeds received by .edge and three proxies that it generates for each of them, providing a choice of four sizes. HOME intelligently selects the most appropriate version for each PiP so that this approach reduces bandwidth consumption and CPU load. If a PiP is resized by the user, a larger (or smaller) proxy may be better—in which case HOME automatically switches the assignment.

We’re also introducing four new HOME Apps, expanding our portfolio of software-based media processing tools. These apps enable broadcasters to streamline their workflows without relying on specialized hardware, which is becoming increasingly important in today’s fast-evolving production environments. In addition, we’re showcasing updates to our HOME platform, which serves as the backbone of our IP ecosystem. With enhanced automation and management capabilities, it simplifies device orchestration and ensures seamless integration across different technologies.

imageOn the audio side, visitors can experience the latest iterations of our crystal broadcast console and mc² production consoles. Both product lines incorporate significant improvements in flexibility, workflow efficiency, and integration with IP-based infrastructures. These solutions reflect our commitment to helping broadcasters optimize their operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability.
