Crediting his Mamelodi, Pretoria, roots for his humble demeanour, Thatiso says that what started as a side hustle designing custom T-shirts for his friends turned into the brand that it is today. "I used to get R20 for school SO I'd starve for three days just to print a T-shirt and sell it for R250," he says.

Thatiso has gone on to craft a brand that stands as a beacon of youthful innovation and African urban culture.
