The Great Yoga Confusion

One evening, several Champakvan residents were playing football. While playing, the ball rolled towards Jumbo elephant, but instead of kicking it, he sat down on the ground.

“I’m tired! I can’t play anymore,” Jumbo said, taking a deep breath.

“You're tired already? The game started just ten minutes ago!” Meeku mouse said in surprise.

“Yes, I don’t know what’s wrong. I’ve been getting tired very quickly these days,” Jumbo replied.

“Jumbo, you should start exercising. It will keep you healthy,” said Blacky bear.

Jumbo shook his head. “No, lifting heavy weights is not my cup of tea!”

“Well, what if there’s no weightlifting involved? You’re okay with that, right?” asked Cheeku, and Jumbo nodded.

“Great! Then starting tomorrow, we're all practising yoga in the morning,” said Cheeku.

Everyone was taken aback.

“All of us? Cheeku, Jumbo’s the one who needs it! Why should we all do yoga?” asked Meeku.

“Yoga isn’t just for losing weight. It’s beneficial for everyone,” said Cheeku.

“Cheeku, will yoga help me gain weight too?” asked Damru donkey.

“Of course! Yoga can help with everything,” Cheeku smiled.

After playing for a while, everyone returned home, agreeing to meet the next morning.

The next day, everyone gathered with their yoga mats.

“Everyone ready?” asked Cheeku.

“Yes!” Everyone replied in unison.

“Cheeku, yoga is new for us. We’re not sure if we can do it properly,” Jumbo said nervously.

“Jumbo, you’re not going into a wrestling competition. Don’t worry! Yoga is easy, and it has plenty of health benefits! First, we'll do simple poses that everyone can manage. Then, I’ll show Jumbo and Damru special poses for weight loss and weight gain,” Cheeku explained, and everyone nodded.

“Let’s start with the Focused Gazing pose. It helps improve eyesight. Stare at the flame of this lamp without blinking,” Cheeku instructed.
