The musician opens up about grief, love and her mother's "ever present" spirit

Chloe Lattanzi says she first felt the presence of her late mom, Olivia Newton-John, a week after the beloved Grease actress died of breast cancer at the age of 73 in August 2022. “She appeared to me as this bright blue orb. It’s the color of the necklace she was wearing when she passed,” says Chloe, 38. “I never feel alone. She’s always with me.” Here, the musician (her dad is Olivia’s ex-husband, Matt Lattanzi) talks to In Touch’s Diana Cooper about keeping her mom’s legacy alive, her marriage to her martial arts trainer husband James Driskill, and feeling the love from her mom’s longtime friend John Travolta.

How are you doing?

CL: I’ve just started to feel again. Grief is a unique process. We all experience it differently. I’m only now just really feeling it like she’s not coming back.

When do you feel her presence?
