If anyone knows how to play the game of Survivor, it's George Mladenov. The “King of Bankstown”, as he's affectionately known by fans, makes his return to Samoa for the third time in Australia v The World, an honour he likens to playing for his country at sport's highest level. “It's like representing the Socceroos – I've been called up to the Australian Survivor national team, representing Team Australia,” he tells WHO.

Never one to be accused of being subtle or a shrinking violet, this time around, the 34-year-old political operative dons his most patriotic attire to compete.

“Of course, I'm going to wear the most iconic piece of Australian clothing, which is budgie smugglers with an Australian flag, flaunting my hot new dad bod,” he says.
