JEFF BEZOS' BLUE ORIGIN ROCKET IS LOADED UP WITH CELEBRITIES FOR AN OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD JOY RIDE

Katy Perry will be the first pop star in space, set to shoot across the sky after agreeing to join an all-female space crew. Travelling on Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin rocket, Perry, 40, is set to lift off this autumn ahead of going on the road on The Lifetimes Tour on April 23.

The mission is led by Lauren Sánchez, Bezos' partner, who has recruited a team of celebrities, scientists and journalists to join her on the flight.

US media personality Gayle King, research scientist Amanda Nguyen, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe and film producer Kerianne Flynn will also be on board.
