Hipwell recommends creating a mood board to communicate your ideas. "Before approaching potential builders, think about exactly what you're looking to achieve," he suggests. "Having a set vision from the start is key for a successful build. One great way to clarify your vision is to gather relevant images and present them as a mood board. Start to consider the needs of your build, including the materials that could help you achieve the look, whether it's a box modern style or a more relaxed Hamptons look."
