OLIVER HUDSON IS MORE THAN A FAMOUS LAST NAME
Us Weekly

He calls Hollywood titans Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell and Kate Hudson family, but the actor/host/podcaster has more in common with you than you might think
In the inaugural on-camera interview for our new Just Like Us video series, Oliver Hudson should not be as open and down-to-earth as he is. After all, he's known the spotlight since birth: His mom is Goldie Hawn, and his stepdad is Kurt Russell — both excellent candidates for Most Popular titles in the yearbook of Hollywood. Growing up, he would put on a kid-size tux and join one or both of them on the red carpet alongside younger sister Kate Hudson. Later, his poster-worthy good looks sent him on the same career path as Mom, 80, and “Pa,” 74. (Rounding out the siblings: Hawn and Russell's son, actor Wyatt Russell, 39, and Kurt's son with ex-wife Season Hubley, Boston Russell, 45.)
But Hudson has no attitude, no narcissism, and has never had qualms about sharing the trauma he’s gone through in the form of anxiety and debilitating panic attacks. “I think I can help a lot of people by telling my story,” the mental health advocate says.
On the heels of his iconic appearance in Happy Gilmore 2 earlier this year, Hudson is now hosting Gingerbread Land: The Biggest Little Holiday Competition on Magnolia Network and Food Network and stars opposite Alicia Silverstone in Netflix’s A Merry Little Ex-Mas. The self-described “unfiltered” (and very curious) guy also hosts the Sibling Revelry podcast with Kate, 46.
Next year, Hudson turns 50, and the father of three is aiming high: “Let's make the back nine of life amazing. Let's stop giving a s**t.” Hey, he’s only human... or do we mean Just Like Us?
Down-Home HolidaysThere may be multiple A-listers in the room when the extended Hudson-Hawn-Russell clan gathers in Aspen, Colorado, but fun, old-fashioned “chaos” — not dueling egos or “I'd rather be in St. Moritz” vibes — typically marks the season. And Hawn washes dishes!

Megan's WINNING STREAK
Since she was young, Megan Thee Stallion has always bet on herself. “Even deciding to pursue a career as a rapper was a risk, but I was just confident,” she tells Us. So it only made sense when Fanatics Sportsbook approached the three-time Grammy winner, 30, to celebrate the intersection of music and basketball with its new campaign series, Explained by Megan Thee Stallion. “To this day, I’m always betting on myself in all aspects of my life,” she says. “When I launched my tequila and swimwear brands [Chicas Divertidas and Hot Girl Summer, respectively], those were risky business decisions, but I never doubted myself or my team. You can’t let fear or insecurity stop you from reaching your full potential.”
