GH: CODY AND SASHA'S GREAT ESCAPE

Cody and Sasha break out of Ferncliff after Cody recognizes the nefarious Dr. Montague from Selina’s poker games. “Once he realizes that the doctor knows Gladys, he pieces it all together while he’s trying to save Sasha,” explains Cody’s portrayer, Josh Kelly. “It all kind of clicks.”

For Cody, this creates a sharp uptick in the urgency of the already-urgent need to whisk Sasha to safety. “Cody tends to be an all or nothing kind of guy, and there’s no waiting after that,” says Kelly, who notes that Sasha is in a sorry state due to the drugs Montague has pumped into her system. “She’s just completely out of it and incapacitated and delusional, a lot like she was when she was hallucinating that Cody was Cyrus. But she has a moment of clarity and realizes that Cody is there to help her, and she agrees that she wants to leave.”
