McDonald’s fined $212,000 over child labor horror

FAMILY-FRIENDLY McDonald’s has been exposed as a monster employer that put hundreds of children to work illegally, sometimes toiling midnight hours for no pay — including a ten-year old who operated a deep fryer and a tenth-grader who wound up scalded with hot oil! 

U.S. Department of Labor investigators have slapped whopper fines on McDonald’s eateries in Kentucky, Indiana, Maryland and Ohio, where they found 305 kids under age 16 prepping and serving meals, ringing up cash registers, taking Happy Meal orders at drive-thrus and even working until 2 a.m. on school days — often without receiving a dime!
