THE Church of Scientology is being shaken to its core by a bitter power struggle between its longtime poster boy Tom Cruise and Hollywood power players John Travolta and Elisabeth Moss, sources squeal.

Insiders insist Travolta and Moss are raring to replace the Top Gun hotshot as the public face of the religion — and note Cruise, 61, was nowhere to be seen last month in Clearwater, Fla., as the faithful celebrated the religion’s late founder, L. Ron Hubbard.

Travolta, 70, and Moss, 41, took in a three-and-a-half hour speech from church boss David Miscavige, while Tom was a no-show, citing his film schedule.
