It all started with a gown, or rather two. When Nicola Peltz tied the knot with Brooklyn Beckham this past April, she didn't don his mother's eponymous fashion label, Victoria Beckham. Instead, the actress opted for high-end looks from Valentino and Versace at their ceremony and reception, respectively. "She realized that her atelier couldn't do it, so then I had to pick another dress," Nicola, 27, told Variety in August of snubbing her in-law's line. "She didn't say you can't wear it; I didn't say I didn't want to wear it."

But a little more than four months later, the women are reportedly on bad terms. "Victoria can't stand Nicola, and the most shocking thing about it is that she doesn't even hide it," an insider dishes to Life & Style. "A lot of mothers never think any girl is good enough for their son, but Victoria is encroaching on monster in-law territory."
