The Olsen twins were thrust into the spotlight at just 9 months old. But after eight years of sharing the role of Michelle Tanner on Full House — and then building an empire that included direct-to-video movies, a magazine and more — sisters Ashley and Mary-Kate stepped away from Hollywood in 2012. And the duo, who now run fashion label The Row, have managed to lead largely private lives ever since. Says Mary-Kate: “ We were raised to be discreet people.”
